Disney's Animal
Kingdom

Hollywood Boulevard is the first land guests set foot in while in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Boulevard, much like Main Street, USA in the Magic Kingdom is the home of numerous shops.

At the end of the street you can find the park icon, the Sorcerer's Hat! Behind the Sorcerer's Hat is a replica of Grauman's Chinese Theatre which is home to the parks signature attraction, The Great Movie Ride.

While The Great Movie Ride opened with the park on May 1, 1989, the Sorcerer's Hat that sits at the end of the street didn't arrive until September of 2001.

In addition to The Great Movie Ride, guests can also watch the stage show, High School Musical 3: Senior Year - Right Here! Right Now! and have a great spot for watching the daily block party, Pixar's Block Party Bash!

Fun Facts: Before the Sorcerer's Hat was added to the end of the street the park icon was the Earful Tower, a 163 foot tall water tower that can be found in the Backlot portion of the park.

The Sorcerer's hat would eventually cover up one of the largest, if not THE largest, Hidden Mickey in Walt Disney World. The face of Mickey was made up of the plaza where the Sorcerer's Hat now sits, while Echo Lake and part of Sunset Boulevard made up Mickey's ears.

Touring Tips: The shops on Hollywood Boulevard are open a little after the park closes down, so if you still feel the need to shop at the end of the day, you can!
