Fun Find Friday
November 12, 2016
Location: New Orleans Square, Disneyland
Have you ever walked through New Orleans Square in
Disneyland and noticed the odd detail in this picture?
Do you see it? I'm talking about the weird Y placed
upon the wall:
Objects like these can be found scattered throughout
New Orleans Square (along with two instances in Magic Kingdom's
Adventureland). What are they exactly? They are historically
accurate details that depict the way horse drawn carriages should
turn around in a street that may be difficult for the horse and
buggy to navigate through. While approaching these difficult to
navigate areas, the driver would locate the marking found upon the
wall to figure out the best way to get to their final destination!
Just goes to show that no detail has been overlooked in the Happiest
Kingdom of them all!
