Fun Find Friday

Location: Echo Lake, Disney's Hollywood Studios
||Welcome aboard! This is Captain Rex in the cockpit!
Wait a minute! I'm getting ahead of myself here. With the
newest addition of Star Tours opening recently, a whole new
group of Fun Finds joined it! Of course, the most obvious
one in the picture to the left is the very familiar robot,
RX-24, who took us on a trip to the Moon of Endor during his
very first flight!
However, that's not what we are here to talk about today. We
are actually going to discuss the nice little reference to
all things Star Wars that is located below the pipe near the
Droid Customs sign.
Here you will find some orange lettering on the wall which
reads, "SW077808399020508." What does this mean exactly?
Well, SW is the most obvious reference. It stands for Star
Wars, but the numbers have more meanings behind it.
Each double number (starting with 77) marks a year when a
Star Wars film debuted in theaters. So 77 represents 1977 (A
New Hope), 80 for 1980 (The Empire Strikes Back), 1983
(Return of the Jedi), 1999 (The Phantom Menace, 2002 (Attack
of the Clones), 2005 (Revenge of the Sith), and 2008 (The
Clone Wars TV show).
What other fun finds wait for us in a galaxy far,
far away? You'll have to stop by later in the future to find out!
