Disney Display at the Ronald Regan Museum by
Hi everyone! I'm back once again! Sorry I took some
time off, but I had to stop typing so others had a chance to share
their stories as well. I've come back and I'm excited because I have
now been part of the site since 2010! Let's begin with a trip to the
Ronald Regan Museum. I know what you are thinking. Why am I talking
about President Ronald Regan? Well, yes, we are going to focus on
him a little bit today!
Regan and Walt Disney were good friends. Before he
was president, he was at the Disneyland grand opening. But how does
he connect with Disney today? Well, D23 brought in the largest
exhibit in the history of the museum to share the Walt Disney
Treasures at the Ronald Regan Museum! If you are ever in California
and haven't seen it, you must go!
Some of the amazing things I saw at the museum were
the fountain in front. You can also find President Regan's motorcade
car which was used to transport him back and forth from work. You
can find the oval office (a replica) from the White House!
You can find old pictures of posters that Walt did.
Some of these pictures are dedicated to my friend Albert who loves
Oswald! Some of the pictures in a display case featured pictures of
Oswald and you could even find a poster for him!
There were also Mickey miniatures and a desk where
Walt Disney drew Mickey!
Since there are so many pictures I took I am going
to make this a two part series. Until next time, I hope you enjoy!
