Gopher

Gopher

This week we will be talking about a lovable furry character from 'Winnie the Pooh.' Gopher was always one of my favorite characters, and I especially love his whistle when he talks. He has appeared in the films 'The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh,' 'Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day,' 'Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year,' 'Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie,' 'Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too,' 'Winnie the Pooh: Seasons of Giving,' and 'Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin.' In television shows he can be found in 'House of Mouse,' a cameo in 'Goof Troop,' and 'The New Adventure of Winnie the Pooh.' He can be found in video games such as the Kingdom Hearts series, and Tigger's Honey Hunt. In other merchandise he can be found in toys, books, Disney art, clothing, and pins.

He lives in Hundred Acre Wood, and he works as a Miner. He has many friends he can count on such as Tigger, Piglet, Kanga, Pooh, Owl, Christopher Robin, Roo, Rabbit, Eeyore, and the rest of the good Disney characters. His enemies include Woozles, Jagulars, Heffalumps, and the rest of the Disney villains.

Gopher

Gopher has furry gray hair, two large front teeth, bushy black eyebrows, a black nose, a short pointy tail, and 6 whiskers (3 on each side of his face). He is a very dedicated worker, and his motor is moving none stop. His favorite things are digging and mining.

*FUN FACT* Gopher's real name is Samuel J. Gopher.

He was animated by John Lounsbery. He has been voiced by a few people over the years such as Michael Gough and Howard Morris.

Gopher

Gopher can be found in Disney theme parks around the world. He can be seen in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, too!, Pooh's Hunny Hunt, and he also has a card in the Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom game. I always remember seeing him in Winnie the Pooh themed Disney on Ice performances when I was a kid.
