With Frozen week in full swing, today's Who's
Who Wednesday will be about Olaf, the lovable
snowman from 'Frozen,' which is released today!
There are no television shows at this time, but
I heard rumors of possible short films and a
possible television show if 'Frozen' is a big
success at the box office. He can also be see in
the video games Disney Infinity, Frozen: Free
Fall, and Olaf's Quest. In other merchandise he
can be found in toys, clothing, books, Disney
art, Disney pins, and a vinylmation.
He lives in Norway and has many friends he
can count on such as Anna, Sven, Kristoff, Elsa,
the trolls, and the rest of the good Disney
characters. His enemies include Marshmallow, the
Duke of Weselton, and the rest of the Disney
villains. He wants to help Anna save the kingdom
of Arendelle, where she is the princess.
Olaf is not your average snowman, but he does
look the part with his carrot nose, three
buttons made of coal, sticks for hair, and arms
made of stick. His body, however, can separate
and move without the other pieces. He also loves
all things summer, the sun, and the heat. He is
also extremely caring, funny, and helpful.
He was animated by Mark Henn, and Hyrum
Osmond. He is voiced by the extremely funny Josh
*FUN FACT* The Walt Disney Company tried to
create a version of 'Frozen' in the late 1990s
but it didn't come to be.
Olaf can be seen in Disney parks around the
world in things such as Disney Dreams!, World of
Color-Winter Dreams, and Disney Magic on Parade.
He can also be found in a Frozen meet and greet
in Disneyland. Also in Downtown
Disney/Disneyland he can be found in Olaf's
Frozen Ice Rink.
I am extremely excited to go see this film on
Thanksgiving Day. If this film is as good as
critics are saying I would love to see Disney
incorporate it more into the parks. I would love
to see a 'Frozen' themed course take over at the
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf. I love that
mini golf course, but I feel it is due for an
