Hank Pym

Hank Pym

Hank Pym, (the original Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Yellowjacket, and Goliath) is one of the world's best biochemists, and one of the original Avengers in the comics. He can be found in the new Marvel film set to hit theaters this weekend, 'Ant-Man.' He also appears in 'Ultimate Avengers: The Movie' and 'Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.' In television shows he can be seen in 'The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes,' 'Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes,' 'Super Hero Squad,' and 'Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers.' In video games he can be found in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Marvel vs Capcom, Marvel: Avengers Alliance, and Lego Marvel Super Heroes. In other merchandise he can be found in clothing, books, Disney art, toys, and pins.

He was born in Nebraska as Henry Jonathan Pym. He has many allies he can count on such as Tony Stark, Vision, Captain America, Hawkeye, Thor, Wasp, Black Widow, Hulk, Nick Fury, and the rest of the good Marvel characters. His enemies include Egghead, Doctor Nemesis, Absorbing Man, Whirlwind, Ultron, Equinox, A.I.M., M.O.D.A.K., Radioactive Man, Loki, Dr. Doom, Red Skull, and the rest of the evil Marvel villains.

Ant-Man

Hank wears a red and black full body outfit. He also wears a silver and red cybernetic helmet, that allows him to communicate with ants. He created Pym Particles which allows him the ability to shrink and grow when needed. His Giant-Man costume was red and navy blue, while his Yellowjacket costume was black and yellow, and his Goliath costume was blue and yellow.

*FUN FACT* Hank Pym actually created Ultron in the comics, not Tony Stark and Bruce Banner.

Ant Man

He was created by Jack Kirby, Larry Lieber, and Stan Lee. He is voiced by Wally Wingert in the movies and cartoons. He is played by Michael Douglas in the new 'Ant-Man' movie.

Hank Pym can't be found in Disney theme parks at this point. It will be up to Disney to see how they bring these wonderful characters, and the Marvel products, into their parks around the world.
