Prince Phillip

Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty

Prince Phillip is one of the lead characters from the 1959 Walt Disney Classic film 'Sleeping Beauty.' He can be found in other films such as 'Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse,' 'Disney Princess Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams,' and also in the upcoming film 'Maleficent' which hits theaters March 14, 2014. In television shows he can be found in 'Once Upon a Time,' 'House of Mouse,' and ' A Poem Is.' In video games he can be found in the Kingdom Hearts Series. Finally in other merchandise he can be found in toys, clothing, books, pins to name a few.

He lives in his fathers castle and his weapon of choice is a sword and shield. He has many friends he can count on in his time of need such as Princess Aurora, King Stefan, Samson, King Hubert, Queen Leah, Fauna, Flora, and Merryweather. His enemies include Maleficent, her followers, Diablo, and the rest of the Disney villains.

Prince Phillip is very skinny, he has brown eyes and brown hair. He has worn a few different outfits over the years, but the most common outfit being a black and gray shirt, black boots, brown pants, a red cape, and he has a fancy shield and a sword to defeat his enemies with. Phillip is extremely brave and he would go to the ends of the earth for Princess Aurora.

*FUN FACT* He was the first Disney prince to be given a name, and the first prince to use weapons against his enemies.

He has been voiced by a few people over the years such as Roger Craig Smith, Josh Robert Thompson, and Bill Shirley. He was animated by the great Milt Kahl.

Prince Phillip can be found in Disney parks around the world as a meet and greet character, he doesn't come out often so when he does be sure to take advantage of it and get a photo with him. He can also be found in Dream Along With Mickey, Fantasmic!, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, The Golden Mickeys, One Man's Dream 2: The Magic Lives on!, Jubilation!, Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams, and in World of Color. He also has a spell card in Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.
