Who's Who? Wednesday

Ultron is the extremely sadistic artificial
intelligence from the 2015 Marvel film 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.' He
can also be found in the film 'Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow.'
In television shows he can be found in 'Avengers Assemble,' 'The
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes,' 'The Super Hero Squad Show,'
'The Avengers: United They Stand,' and 'Marvel Disk Wars: The
Avengers.' In video games he can be found in Marvel: Avengers
Alliance, Marvel Super Hero Squad Online, Marvel Heroes 2015, Marvel
Contest of Champions, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and Captain America
and the Avengers. In other merchandise he can be found in toys,
comic books, games, clothing, pins, and artwork.
He was created in Cresskill, New Jersey in the
hometown of Wasp (Janet Van Dyne). He was at one time married in the
comics to a robot named 'Jocasta' who he created in match Hank Pym's
wife/ex-wife 'Janet Van Dyne' (Wasp) . He doesn't team up often but
when he does he teams up with various Marvel villains such as Melter,
Whirlwind, Ulysses Klaw, Radioactive Man, the Masters of Evil, and a
few other Marvel super villains. His enemies include Hulk, Iron Man,
Nick Fury, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Spider-Man, Captain America,
Quicksilver, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Vision, Agent Hill, and the rest
of the good Marvel super heroes.
Ultron is a large robot.
He is made out of various
metals, including vibranium (the stuff Captain America's shield is
made out of). Of all the designs he has had (there are currently 20
different models of Ultron) the two constant colors of his robotic
shell are red and silver. He is sadistic, brilliant, and is
extremely twisted. Like Tony Stark, Hank Pym, and Bruce Banner he
creates things and one of Ultron's greatest creations was the
Vision. He also went by the name Crimson Cowl. Watch for the easter
egg to the Crimson Cowl
in the new Avengers: Age of Ultron film.
*FUN FACT* In the comics, Ultron was actually
created by Dr. Hank Pym (the original Ant-Man) and not by Bruce
Banner and Tony Stark.
He is played by the extremely talented James
Spader in the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron.' He was voiced by a few
different people in animated shows such as Jim Meskimen and Tom
Kane. He was also created by John Buscema and Roy Thomas.
Ultron has yet to be incorporated in Disney theme
parks around the world. I think going forward, you will see him and
a lot of other Marvel characters in the parks in the very near
future especially with how popular the films are.
